How would you describe your overall experience working with me?
"Enlightening, calming, empowering, safe"
What was the most valuable part of our work together?
"Having you with us as a steady, constant, level-headed presence during the entirety of my loooong labor! You are a wealth of knowledge and experience, flexible and practical with your application of it, always making us feel safe and like we had options. One of my favorite parts of working with you was toward the very end of my labor, when doctors wanted to speed things along with a medical intervention, you suggested that we do a somewhat complex position change instead - and that’s what really did the trick! No unnecessary meds needed :)"
What would you want people to know who might be considering working with me?
"You will show up for them with honesty and compassion no matter what!" - Chrissy C.

How would you describe your overall experience working with me?
"Wonderful! You went above and beyond with how you supported me and listened to what I wanted from this birth experience."
What was the most valuable part of our work together?
"The most valuable part of working with you was how you understood what I wanted from this birthing time and how I wanted to grow and improve on my last birth experience. You spent a lot of time talking through it with me to figure out exactly what I wanted, work through any self doubt and make it an incredibly positive experience"
What would you want people to know who might be considering working with me?
"I would tell my friend how I felt very trusting of you right away, very comforted, heard and supported. I would let them know you are funny, very open-hearted and easy to talk to. If I have another baby I would choose you to be my doula in a heartbeat. You helped me to work through my self-critical nature and be proud of what I accomplished. You listened when I said you need to be hands-on and not too passive when helping during my birthing time. You were so helpful with guidance on positioning and counter pressure, especially if my husband had to step away. You took amazing photos and videos which mean the world to me! Just a wonderful person!" Kelley F.

"My husband and I are so happy with Sophie. She's an excellent doula, a wonderful person, and we consider her part of our family. We are first time parents and she has such a steady, comforting, kind presence that's been crucial to helping us get some tough days. We (and our dog, she loves Sophie) are always glad to see Sophie walk through the door.
Sophie has also helped me with my breastfeeding journey - honestly, it's not something that I've enjoyed overall, and she's helped me clarify why I'm doing it and what can be done to make it easier. I'm still pumping and wouldn't have made it this far without her.
Sophie is also super through and documents in detail how each night goes with our daughter. I've changed up my daughter's feeding routine several times with different supplements/formula combinations based on her gas and fussiness. Sophie is flexible and always willing to try a new routine, offering her thoughts based on what she sees at night, and is patient with me every time I want to mix it up:).
In sum ,w elove Sophie and trust her completely with our daughter. I'm now pregnant with my second, and am obviously using Sophie as part of our dream team once again!"

"My experience working with Sophie completely surpassed my expectations of doula care. She provided holistic and comprehensive guidance about birth prep, delivery, and recovery during a transformative and vulnerable time for me. She stepped in with sound wisdom and suggestions that changed the trajectory of my postpartum recovery and set my family up to flourish during the newborn phase. I could sense Sophie bringing her whole self into our time together and I am so grateful for her wisdom and care when I needed it most.
It's hard to choose only one single aspect to highlight because Sophie was so responsive to so many emotional and practical needs. I'll never forget how she swooped in like a mother hen during the first postpartum visit and tended to me, advised my partner, cared for our baby, and got a delicious pot of soup going within minutes of her arrival. I felt deeply seen and valued at every stage of the process. Her ability to form a genuine connection with us allowed me to be real and open about my hopes and fears around birth and becoming a mother.
Anyone choosing to work with Sophie is truly in the best of hands. She is considerate, capable, and a wealth of knowledge about all things birth and postpartum. She is both tough and tender, willing to speak the truth in love so you can proceed with strength as a new parent. I would advise people who are on the fence about working with a doula to take the leap of faith and be willing to receive this kind of help. I can promise from my experience that this care will make a world of difference for your family!" - Lacy T.

"My partner and I are first-time parents, and we decided to work with a birth doula to support us during the final weeks of pregnancy and throughout labor. Sophie has been absolutely incredible. The prenatal sessions with her taught us so much and eased much of the anxiety we felt as our due date approached. Her thorough explanations of each step and decision during pregnancy and labor helped us feel truly prepared.
My labor was long and challenging, and Sophie was essential every step of the way; from calming me down and offering constant encouragement to keeping us informed about what was happening. When our baby finally arrived, she gently guided my partner to stay with the baby while she remained with me, easing the stress and exhaustion of what turned into a full day of labor.
We’re deeply grateful for Sophie’s patience, composure, and unwavering support. Beyond her professionalism, she’s a warm, loving person who shares our sense of humor. It was both a pleasure and a privilege to have her by our side during such a magical time in our lives." – Aliki M.

"Having Sophie as our doula was the best decision we made. From the prenatal visits to the continuous support during labor, she was an absolute rock. Her calming presence, hands-on comfort techniques, and encouraging words helped me stay focused and confident. She also gave my partner guidance and breaks when needed, which made us feel like a team. The postpartum follow-up was incredibly meaningful—she helped us process the birth and offered valuable newborn care tips. We are forever grateful for her compassion and expertise!"

"Sophie was a godsend to our family. She worked with us from the day our son came home from the hospital until he was 4.5 months old, and I don’t know how we would have survived those early months without her! Sophie brought a wonderful warmth and ease into an otherwise chaotic household and took care of both me and our son. She was very knowledgeable on baby care, helping us get into a routine and answering a million first-time- mom questions. She also took such good care of me in those early days – making me tea and breakfast, doing abhyanga massage, and offering tips and tricks for my own recovery. Sophie is very proactive and makes herself useful – if there is something to be done, Sophie jumps to do it. I can be quite picky and specific about how I want our son cared for, and Sophie was so great about it – she gave me advice when I wanted it but also listened to and respected my preferences. Sophie helped us with gentle sleep “conditioning” for our son (e.g. removing the pacifier around 3 months), and without any real sleep training he started sleeping through the night by 3.5 months! All in all Sophie set our family up for success and made the transition to parenthood so much easier and more joyful. We would recommend her to anyone."

In anticipation of our first child we hired Sophie as the night nurse on an 8 week contract. I ended up giving birth early and she was able to accommodate the time difference which was super helpful. Sophie was so good with our daughter and informative to us newbie parents and we hired her on to stay until 12 weeks. Honestly, we would have kept her longer but she had another family signed on. She was patient, kind, and the relationship she created with us was so helpful in those early months. She's also ayurvedic certified so she helps with postpartum meals and is super knowledgable. She made those early weeks of postpartum so easy for me. She's a 10/10. I recommend her to every pregnant woman I see, she definitely has our stamp of approval."

"10 Stars! We wholeheartedly recommend Sophie to all expectant parents. The pregnancy and birth experienc can be very focused on the baby, so it provided much needed balance having someone who advocated and focused on my unique needs and comfort as the mom. Doctors can be difficult to get a hold of in the moment, so having a birth doula we could reach out to with questions felt so reassuring and comforting leading up to the birth as the first time parents. Sophie was with us through my entire long labor at the hospital. She developed a great relationship with the hospital staff and they were clearly extremely grateful for her help and so was I! I honestly don't know how our nurse and doctor could've handled everything without Sophie there as well. It also freed up my husband to be really present with me and provide emotional support and connectionI needed from him in those moments. Her support and care went above and beyond!"

“Never have I felt so deeply supported as a mom until I met Sophie. I had many bloopers, and she fixed things right away. She helped me feel in control and master momhood. Her humor made me look forward to each session! She's a baby whisperer, my baby was always so calm after we met. I referred her to my entire mom's group after that but kept her as a secret after I had my 2nd and 3rd babies because she books out so fast.”

"I am a second time mom so I suspected how hard it would be to recover from a c-section while also caring for a newborn and toddler. Sophie helped us so much through the initial transition period. We hired Sophie for postpartum overnight support to get through those first seven weeks of healing and adjustment and I couldn’t be more grateful for Sophie’s support. My second child was very different from my first so Sophie was able to share many new tips and suggestions to work through various scenarios unique to my second. Sophie’s expertise, kindness, openness, validation, and encouragement made our transition from a family of three to four so much easier than anticipated. My only regret was not hiring her for birth support in addition to postpartum support! I highly recommend Sophie. You and your baby will be in the very best hands. "

"I could not have imagined better birth support and night time support than Sophie provided. I'm a first time mom and Sophie was there for us every step of the way. She really helped calm down all the fears that come with being a first time parent. Thank you so much for all the heart and support you have us!"
